We spend countless hours reading about birds, researching birds, and bird watching, especially in our backyard. Recently, we shared how to make the best birdseed ornaments, and it’s been very popular with kids and adults. Slice your fruit.

Then, place the slices in the bundt pan. You can arrange this however you’d like. *Kids love to join in and add the fruit*

Adding your raspberries in-between the lemon and orange slices (or other fruit)  gives it a fun pop of color. But if your children are placing the fruit I would leave it however they placed them.

 Slowly pour water into the pan so that it just covers the fruit. This is also a great activity for children. Pouring is a good practical life skill and keeps them involved in the process.

Place in the freezer for a few hours or until solid. After you remove your pan from the freezer, run warm water under the pan. It’ll make the ice pop right out.

Add the ribbon or string.

Frozen Homemade Bird Treats

What’s Needed

  • Bundt Pan
  • Orange, Lemon, & Raspberries (other great options are cranberries, apple slices, pears, grapes, nuts)
  • Ribbon/String

Directions

1. Slice your fruit.

2. Then place the slices in the bundt pan. You can arrange this however you’d like.
