An Invitation to Play in the Woods
It’s fall!!! A great time to get outside and enjoy nature. Today it all started with a walk in the woods… I hope you enjoy this small world play in the woods as much as the kids did.
An Invitation to Play in the Woods with the Smurfs
Who can resist a walk on a cool fall day?
The children explored, laughed and played.
But wait…. What is that I see?
An invitation to play for me!
They didn’t know that mommy had gone out in the morning to set up a play space filled with fun.
The fire pit was one of their favorite parts.
A broken pot was the perfect Smurf hideaway.
Setting this little smurf land up was so much fun. This little guy played for hours.
What a wonderful day for small world play.
I wanted to write just a little bit in case you are interested in what I used.
We think these little blue guys, and girl are super cute and my kids love them. Most of the smurfs I’ve had since I was a little girl. However, I did pick up a couple new ones-Smurfs figure set. I also added a couple of Schleich animals. I added a few pine cones that the boys had painted, a few painted toad stools (because they are always fun), a few glass beads, and then their imaginations took over.
I hope you enjoyed our afternoon in the woods.
If you enjoy small world play at your house I’d love to hear about it.
Your comments make my day 🙂
