One of the best moments in motherhood is when you see your baby or child experience something new that fascinates them. Those moments seem to happen often when you set up a Sensory activity. In our house, sensory play can be fun, tasty, exciting, and of course messy, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. This apple sensory bin is a perfect fall sensory experience for babies and toddlers.

When I’m thinking about Sensory play for babies and toddlers, I always think edible and safe. So for our Apple week, I thought what better than applesauce, apple slices, and a whole apple. It’s natural and edible.

Every September brings fall scents, fall flavors, and of course apple picking for our family. Older children always get to experience all of the fun fall activities so why not try to introduce your babies and toddlers to new experiences too?

For this easy apple sensory bin, all you need is:

A tray or shallow bin
Applesauce
Apples
A few scoopers or wooden spoons

Sensory bins are so easy to make, just add the items into your container and set it out to play! Done! I love how easy they are to set up and they bring hours of fun to your little one!
