How to Make Homemade Soap Minions Style

Something about these cute, funny little yellow guys makes everyone happy. If you haven’t seen Despicable Me yet or been introduced to the Minions, I’d be shocked. My kids love the movies and my eight-year-old laughs hysterically when he watches them. And even though I find a couple of parts a little inappropriate I have to admit the Minions are fun. That is why I came up with this super cool Minion Soap for the kids to enjoy. Are you ready to learn how to make homemade soap? If you already know how, even better.

How to Make Homemade Soap – Minions Soap

What you will need to make these Adorable Minions Soap is in this picture below. I have what’s needed with the full recipe displayed in list form towards the bottom of the page.

Easy Homemade Soap Kids Love

Cut about 15 ice cube sized pieces off your glycerin soap block. Place your soap cubes into your glass measuring cup and microwave for 1 minute or until melted.

Optional 🙂 Mix in 1 teaspoon of your soap scent (I chose vanilla this time but we have also used essential oils)

Place your Minions upside down in your soap molds and Carefully pour your melted soap over your Minion Mineez. Optional: spray the top with your rubbing alcohol (this will prevent air bubbles from forming).

Let your homemade soap cool at room temperature for 10 minutes then transfer to the freezer for another 15 minutes.

Carefully stretch the sides of your mold and press up on the bottom to remove your Minion soap.

Your kids will love washing with their Minions Soap.

I have to admit I think I love it just as much as they do. These homemade soaps are so much fun.

How to Make Homemade Soap – Minions Soap Recipe

What’s Needed:

Minion Mineez
Glycerin soap block
Knife
Cutting board
Any square soap mold
Craft sticks for stirring
Soap scent (optional)
Small spray bottle of rubbing alcohol
Clear glass measuring bowl

Directions

1. Cut about 15 ice cube sized pieces off your glycerin soap block.
2. Place your soap cubes into your glass measuring cup and microwave for 1 minute or until melted.
3. Mix in 1 teaspoon of your soap scent (Optional) Essential Oils are also great to use.
4. Place your Minions upside down in your soap molds.
5. Using a pot holder, carefully pour your melted soap over your Minion Mineez and spray the top with your rubbing alcohol (this will prevent air bubbles from forming).
6. Let cool at room temperature for 10 minutes then transfer to the freezer for another 15 minutes.
7. Carefully stretch the sides of your mold and press up on the bottom to remove your Minion soap.
