I love books. In fact, in my dream house I envision an amazing library just like the one from Beauty and the Beast, that would be a dream come true. For now I do the next best thing, which is stock the shelves in my house full of quality books.

You’re probably wondering how I can afford to purchase so many great books at one time. The library, that’s right, the library can be one of the best places for homechoolers. Not only can you check out books, Cd’s, DVD’s, and games. You can also take classes, have story time, see reptile shows, and so much more. Best of all most library’s hold huge book sales (some annually, and some quarterly). This is a great time to stock up on wonderful books for you and your little one’s.

This morning I decided it would be fun to spread out all the books onto the school room floor, so when the kids woke up, it would be one of the first things they noticed. They loved it, so today instead of our regular schooling, I let them take their time and explore the books.
