With the busy holidays passing and now the change of getting back into our daily rhythm we have had a few melt downs here. I knew we needed to revisit some of our favorite books and activities on managing feelings and emotions. The kids have been loving these free printables. You can download your set below.

Managing Feelings and Emotions
Check out how we started our introduction to feelings and emotions with an amazing no-cook play dough and this great book.
Activities and Ideas for Sharing Emotions
We like to keep a set of these printables on our refrigerator. You can put a little magnet tape on the back of each emotion card and word card for your child to share his feelings. Little B loves sharing this way and it helps him express himself when the words just aren’t coming out.
Today I’m feeling activities are perfect for children with Autism.
We also have a set that I made as Stick Puppets. You can use these while your talking about feelings, reading books, telling a story or anything thing else. My son enjoys playing with these and making up his own stories. (see the picture above with the cute happy boy)
Working on social and emotional skills with children is very important. With these free printables, books, and activities it will make it so much easier.
