This Patriotic Punch is always a hit with the kids. They’re creative, fun, and totally eye-catching. A few simple ingredients found at any grocery store and you can make this Patriotic Mocktail recipe. It’s the perfect drink for summer.

Whether you are looking for a refreshing drink to cool down with on a hot day, or something festive to serve at your Independence Day party, we have you covered.

Patriotic Non Alcoholic Summer Drinks: Perfect 4th of July Drinks for Kids

We are making one of our favorite patriotic mocktails for this 4th of July. It is a layered drink that uses only three ingredients. You can make them in individual glasses, or put the ingredients into a pitcher and let everyone help themselves to some refreshing cold drinks on Independence Day! We like to use these red white and blue straws to give our drinks a bit of extra flair.

You can use a blue juice instead of the PowerAde, but make sure to check out my note in the recipe below. Enjoy!

Easy Summer Drink Recipe

Fill a glass to the top with ice. You can use any size glass that you like. We mixed it up and used mason jars and glass milk bottles.

First, slowly pour the fruit punch into the glass going about 1/3 of the way up. Pour to the side of the ice so the ice stays free of color.

Next, very slowly pour the white cherry Powerade into the glass going about another 1/3 of the way up.

Last, very slowly pour the mixed berry Powerade into the glass to the top.

Carefully put a straw into your glass and serve immediately. These drinks will bring the fireworks.

Everyone will love these cool summer drinks plus; they look great on the party table.

Ingredients

32 oz. bottle White Cherry Powerade
32 oz. bottle Mixed Berry Powerade Zero
32 oz. Minute Maid Fruit Punch
Fun Straws
Ice

Directions

1. Fill a glass to the top with ice. You may use any size glass you like.

2. First, slowly pour the fruit punch into the glass going about 1/3 of the way up. Pour to the side of the ice so the ice stays free of color.

3. Next, very slowly pour the white cherry Powerade into the glass going about another 1/3 of the way up.

4. Last, very slowly pour the mixed berry Powerade into the glass to the top.

5. Carefully put a straw into your glass and serve immediately.

Note: If you cannot find the exact juices I used, you can substitute other kinds. However, the sugar content is very important as it helps the different colors not mix as easily. The red is the highest sugar content of 38-40 grams sugar. The white is next at about 20-22 grams sugar. The blue should be only 0-8 grams sugar.
