We love adding games into our learning. We also love hands on learning which made me think of adding these fun shark activities for kids to our summer shelves. Plus what child doesn’t love the memory game? Every child that I know enjoys it and wants to play it over and over again. That is why I knew a DIY shark memory game would be perfect.
Shark Activities for Kids
To DIY your own memory game all you have to do is print out 2 copies of the shark printable below. I print all of our printables on cardstock so they are thicker. I added colored paper to the back (because it’s pretty) and laminated them.
The kids love object to picture matching. We have used it multiple times in our themed learning units. Plus it is a great pre-reading skill. I try to make the cards as close looking to the objects as possible. Using real pictures as much as possible, because it just seems right to our family. Hopefully you like it too.
Are you getting ready for Shark Week at your house or do you have kids that are fascinated with sharks?
I hope you enjoy these free printables and make sure to check out some of our other Shark Activities for Kids.
