Amazing Strawberry Banana Acai Smoothie Bowl Recipe
Okay so maybe I am a little late to sharing our love for smoothie bowls with you. I mean they have been around for awhile, and I’m sure you’ve seen a few and maybe even made a few yourself.
They are amazing. The kids and I are addicted and have been ever since this summer.
We’ve always enjoyed smoothies for the great taste and health benefits, but honestly, I have a hard time feeling satisfied by just a drink. That is what makes smoothie bowls perfect for breakfast or a snack.
Strawberry Banana Acai Smoothie Bowl Recipe
1 banana (preferably frozen)
1 unsweetened acai packet
½ cup frozen strawberries
3/4 cup non-dairy milk (almond, coconut, soy)
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
Optional toppings: Sliced bananas, blueberries, hemp seeds, peanut butter
*You can substitute Organic low fat milk if that is what you prefer.
- Place all ingredients into a blender.
- Blend until smooth. Add more liquid if needed.
- Pour smoothie into a bowl.
- Top with desired toppings.
Important: You do need a good blender to make smoothies and smoothie bowls.
