We love puzzles, dot marker pages, any manipulatives, blocks and lego (you can do a lot with them--patterns, building letters and numbers, art, etc etc), playdough, books, of course, and natural materials (especially pinecones, stones, sticks, leaves, etc). Preschool is so much fun! We have the Magna-tiles too, glad I splurged on those. One thing my preschooler loves is letter tiles...Mama is a Scrabble buff so even though he doesn't know all his letters yet, he loves to "play along" with us.
