Easy Color Sorting Activities for Preschoolers & Toddlers
Are you looking for better ways to teach your child colors? Children seem to get very interested in them when they are toddlers and preschoolers. They start to learn colors by you talking to them about the world around you. For example Blue sky, green grass, red ball. Playing games, singing songs, reading books and getting to experience different things is the best way for your child to learn their colors. Today I am sharing one of our favorite Color Sorting Activities for preschoolers. I hope you like it.

Button Color Match Activity
Pick up a set of Toss & Take Colored Containers (you can find them in the baby section)
With scissors, cut a small rectangular opening on each lid. Place the lid on each container.
EASIER Color Match: Sort each color of buttons in a pile in front of that colored container and have the child place the matching color in the container. This would be great for toddlers and preschoolers just learning their colors and matching.
HARDER Color Match: Have all the buttons mixed up in a pile and have the child pick the button color you tell them. Then they have to find the colored container that button belongs to and drop it in. This is great for children that mostly know their colors but need help on word/color association
Color matching is so much fun!
