Christmas is approaching so quickly. It is hard for me to believe this year is coming to an end. This month I went with easy to put together, fun learning activities. Fun & Educational Holiday Activities

Color Matching can be so much fun, especially when you change up what your child is used to. This month we are using bows bought at the dollar store to match these cute Donkey cards.

This is so much fun! It even brings a sensory experience into the learning, because children just love to play with the bows.

I couldn’t resist, she was just having the best time. Plus she is sweet as can be.

Montessori Inspired Learning

We love using these sweet printables. I laminated them and added the Melissa and Doug Shape Puzzle pieces to make it a complete activity. Montessori Inspired activities work wonderful. They are fun, yet the children really get a lot out of them.

Miss. Bells shape activities started here with Teaching Shapes Through Play. Shapes can be just as much or even more fun than colors. Depending on who you ask of course, but both are great.

Moving on to some letter work we added a sorting game for the letter J. This time of the year J is for Jesus. Before you start this activity you may want to talk about Big J, little J (uppercase/lowercase) and the differences between them. Even if your child is familiar with them, it is always a good thing to share a few minutes of looking at the cards and looking at the differences.
