Fall Snacks Kids Love to Make and Eat – Edible Trees

Edible Trees Snack for Fall

For the tree trunk, have your child spread the frosting on the pretzel rod and stick it to a plate.

For the tree branches, repeat the same step as the pretzel rod and spread frosting on the pretzel sticks and stick them on the plate to form branches on the trunk.

For the leaves, tear small pieces of the fruit by the foot and stick them on the tree branches. Since I’m not a fan of giving the kids free range to these types of chewy rolls we cut the rolls into smaller sized strips to start.

You end up with a fun fall snack you can eat afterward.

Edible Fall Tree Snack

Ingredients

• Pretzel Rods
• Pretzel Sticks
• Fruit by the Foot
• White Frosting
• Paper

Directions

1. For the tree trunk, spread frosting on a pretzel rod and attach it to a plate.

2. For the tree branches, spread frosting on the pretzel sticks and stick on the plate to form branches on the trunk.

3. For the leaves, tear small pieces of the fruit by the foot and stick on the tree branches.

*If you prefer a healthier version to this fall edible trees snack you can skip the icing and use sliced red and green grapes. Yummy!
