But in all reality, you can use anything that you want to count. Legos, cute little animal erasers, fun googly eyes, or even yummy marshmallows are great additions to learn with and count out as well.
It all goes back to the fact that some kids are visual and having certain props as additions make it a much better learning experience overall for them.
