Penguin Craft Preschool Activity

To go along with a fun penguin theme this winter we made this adorable Penguin Craft preschool activity. This is an easy invitation for your child to create a cute penguin. Whether you enjoy themed learning or you’re just having fun with the kids this is an easy craft idea.

Penguin Craft for Kids – Easy Penguin Activities for Preschoolers

Penguin Craft Supplies

1 piece of Black Construction Paper

1 piece of White Construction Paper

1 piece of Orange Construction Paper

2 Google Eyes (We used the larger size)

Glue (School glue or stick)

There are a couple of different ways to start this craft.

If your child is great at cutting or you want them to practice cutting, start by drawing a large oval on the black construction paper. They can follow the line to cut the penguin body out. Do the same step with your white construction paper with a medium sized oval.

Using the Orange construction paper make 3 hearts (2 small for feet and 1 a little bigger for beak)

Glue the pieces on starting with the black body.

Glue on the eyes. Viola!

Your child has their own special Penguin Craft.
