Don’t you just love the fall? The weather is gorgeous, the leaves are beautiful, and everything just seems so much prettier in autumn. It also means moms are busier; kids are starting back to school, football practice, dance rehearsals, easy dinners and a house full of kids on the weekends. Can you relate? So today I am sharing a few tips on How We Can Be Prepared for Fall Adventures with Kids. We’re moms, I believe in us. We can take on this busy fall schedule and rock it. Especially with Safeway as our one-stop-shop to fuel up for all of our family adventures.

How to Be Prepared for Fall Adventures with Kids
As I sit here and sip hot apple cider, admire the lovely autumn flowers on my counter and know that the kids’ pumpkins are sitting on the front step just waiting to decorate, I’m one happy momma. The best part is I have happy kids. We all know what it’s like taking the kids to run errands with us, so shop smart. Go somewhere like Safeway where it’s one-stop shopping.
Shopping at Safeway during the Stock Up Sale means I can get all my favorite staples from General Mills, Annie’s, Betty Crocker and Nature Valley at a great price.
Think about your upcoming week of activities and make a list of the items that you need. I’ve realized as soon as I take my kids to the store with me and they start asking for things (please tell me this is normal) I’ve forgotten what we needed to pick up. Having a list is key when you are shopping with kids.
I also have instacart which gives me extra help with my time. Not having to worry about shopping for all of our favorite things. This makes it easy with kids because I don’t have to worry about thumbing through a pile of coupons and people.
Do you use any store apps for shopping? It’s awesome!
Make it Easy on Yourself
Grabbing items like a jar of Classico Tomato Basil sauce and Annie’s™ Natural Mac & Cheese will give you quick meals when you don’t have much time to cook. Just like keeping snacks on hand that you can toss in your bag in case the little ones get hungry is important.
Eating is essential but spending time with your family having fun fall adventures sounds like the best plan for me. That’s why I’m all about making memories during this busy season.
Relax and Enjoy the Fall
We are that neighborhood house that all of the kids hang out at, and I love it. But it helps to be prepared and stock up during big sales. Football Sunday has already started here with the countdown and snacks during halftime. Use flowers, gourds, pumpkins, and apples for inspiration and to give everyone the spirit of the fall season.
I hope these tips help you to have fun fall adventures that are easier on the budget.
