Are you ready for shark week? We can’t wait! Every year, we spend the month of July exploring the ocean and ocean animals. Of course, we include a week of shark activities, shark crafts, shark snacks, and learning all about sharks. We are sharing this adorable Shark Craft for preschool and kindergarten this year. We have also shared a free shark template for you to use. Have fun exploring sharks this summer.

Shark Craft for Preschool and Kindergarten with Free Shark Template

Shark Craft Template
To start making your shark craft gather all of your supplies. Next, download and print the shark template (you can grab your template by signing up and downloading it)
Cut the template out and trace your shark onto gray cardstock. Next, cut a mouth from white cardstock and glue onto the shark.
Use a black marker to outline the shark and add any details.
have your child glue googly eyes onto your shark.
Use the tissue paper to glue a sandy bottom onto the blue cardstock. Now have your child twist green tissue paper and glue it behind the yellow tissue paper. You can reverse these steps if it’s easier for your child.
Glue the shark and shells onto the blue cardstock.

Supplies:
Blue, Gray and White Cardstock
Tissue Paper
Googly Eyes
Glue
Scissors
Black Marker
Seashells
Directions:
1. Download and print the shark template.
2. Cut the template out and trace onto gray cardstock.
3. Cut a mouth from white cardstock and glue onto the shark.
4. Use a black marker to outline the shark and add detail.
5. Glue googly eyes onto the shark.
6. Use tissue paper to glue a sandy bottom onto blue cardstock.
7. Twist green tissue paper and glue behind the yellow tissue paper.
8. Glue the shark and shells onto the blue cardstock.
Your shark craft is complete!
