I recently was introduced to Streamable Learning online homeschool classes where live stream classes can be available to you anywhere. Whether you homeschool like we do or you teach in a classroom these live educational programs are amazing. You’ll find classes covering Science, Technology, Engineering, Math, Culture, Reading, Literature, Health & Wellness, Art, History, Careers, Essential Skills, and more. I’m impressed already, aren’t you?

I’m going to start by giving you a little of our background in case you are new here. In the 12+ years we’ve been homeschooling, we haven’t done tons of online classes before, but we have done a few. When I first signed on to Streamable Learning, I wasn’t sure what to expect as most of us are when we sign up for something new. However, I was delighted with the easy sign-up and free trial they offer. In fact, as I started scrolling around checking out what would interest my kids right now I was impressed at how many live streaming educational programs they had to offer.
Whether you are a planner mom that likes to stick to a schedule or you’re like me and have a more relaxed unscheduled life, this can work for you. I’m saying this because I know when I first saw Book Your Live Streaming Event I got a little nervous. But they have multiple time slots for most programs and have recordings of past live classes. Making it work for all of us.
Live Streaming Classes
The classes last for 30-40 minutes each, and they are full of great information. In fact, when my son saw that the Sea Turtle class was 40 minutes he did a little gasp and let out 40 MINUTES like kids tend to do sometimes. But that 40 minutes flew by as they were taught the turtle life cycle and had a super cool tour of a Sea Turtle rescue center in Texas. They got up close and personal (on screen) with a variety of different turtles. It was awesome!
Even though we were able to get a tour around the Sea Turtle Rescue Hospital, these classes are not virtual tours they are real live programs. You can ask questions and have them answered while you are watching them live, just like if you were there in person.
If you like to offer your kids questions and activities on what they are learning about, a lot of the programs have downloads that you can print off beforehand. I thought that was an excellent idea especially if you keep records of your children’s classes and units that they study.
I suggest checking out the Content Partners because the list is EPIC! I am so excited about so many of them. Just knowing that the kids can learn about so many different topics without even leaving our house is fantastic.
My 9-year-old has Autism, and my 5-year-old was technically a little young for a couple of the classes that we’ve done, and they have loved them. Even though each class has a grade range, as a homeschooler you can do whatever works for your children. So I would dive in and explore what Streamable Learning offers.
Their classes range from K-12th grade. So they have a large variety that supports global education, project-based learning, Career and College readiness, STEM, STEAM, and more.
I like to offer my children paper, colored pencils or a notebook while they are watching so if they want to draw something or take notes of things that interest them they can. This is my sons’ shape turtle that he drew while he was learning about turtles. He explained about his turtle’s flipper and things on its shell (all things he had learned about from the class).
One thing I noticed when looking around at the classes is they took into account educational observances and our lesson planning ideas. They factored in topics like 9/11, Astronomy Week, World Wars week, Women’s History, World Oceans week, Endangered Species Day, Native American Heritage Month, Food Agriculture and Nutrition Month, and so much more.
I have to say they are making my homeschooling days easy with all of these great classes.
Streamable Learning has truly been an educational experience and will continue to be one for us as we continue to homeschool. We’ve already signed up for a few classes in the future. We hope to see you in them.
