This Easy DIY Color Matching Craft is super simple and cheap to put together and kids love it. This simple hands-on color activity will work their fine motor skills, coordination, concentration, word recognition, and more. Plus, it’s fun!

How to Make This Easy Color Matching Craft
Start by coloring the clip end of each clothespin in a different color.
Now, take your paper plate and color a small section on the outside rim a different color. You’ll have 8 sections so divide equally.
Write each color name with the corresponding color.
Have your child clip the clothespin to the plate of the matching color.
Using clothespins for hands-on activities is a great way to build your child’s fine motor skills.

What’s Needed:
Markers (8 different Colors)
8 Clothespins
Small Paper Plate
Directions:
1. Color the clip end of each clothespin in a different color.
2. Now, take your paper plate and color a small section on the outside rim a different color. You’ll have 8 sections so divide equally.
3. Write each color name with the corresponding color.
4. Have the child clip the clothespin to the plate of the matching color.
This is a great way to teach colors and recognize color words.
