Fluffy Candy Cane Slime Recipe
  • 1 1/2 cups Elmer's White Glue
  • 1/2 tsp. Baking Powder
  • 1 1/2 tsp. Peppermint extract
  • 1-2 Tbsp. Contact solution
  • 1 cup Shaving Cream
  • 1 Tbsp. Red Craft Paint
  • glitter
  1. In a large glass bowl stir together school glue, baking soda, peppermint extract, and shaving cream until everything is mixed up completely.
  2. Slowly add in contact solution, you want to add just until the slime pulls easily from the sides of your bowl and doesn’t stick to your fingers as you knead it. Adding too much activator will turn your slime into a less pliable rubber.
  3.  Divide your slime in half and stir in red craft paint and glitter into one of the halves.
  4. optional: Add glitter to the white if you like by kneading it on a smooth surface

  5. Twist together, or layer in a jar to gift, add a cute wintery cookie cutter
  6. Your slime will last for a couple weeks if kept in an airtight container. Add activator if it starts to liquefy, stir in some warm water if it begins to firm up too much.
