Unicorn Science Activity
a fun Unicorn Science Activity kids of all ages will enjoy. I came up with a super cool frozen unicorn fizzy Science idea.
Ingredients
  • Baking Soda
  • A little bit of water
  • Vinegar
  • Food Coloring (optional)
  • Unicorn Mold
Instructions
  1. Start with using some baking soda and a little water to make into a paste. Then add a couple of drops of food coloring to make it blue or whatever color you'd like to use. Next time we plan on making different colors, so it's like a rainbow of unicorns.
  2. Use a spoon and spoon your baking soda mixture into the unicorn molds.

Set your unicorn mold into the freezer for a couple of hours so the baking soda unicorns harden.

  3. Fill your squeeze bottle or jar up with vinegar and add a squirt of dish soap, add a couple of drops of food coloring (food coloring is optional).
  4. When you are ready to do the experiment or let your kids play with it, warm your vinegar up for 30- 45 seconds to get it warm. (If you don't it won't react as much to the frozen baking soda)
  5. Have fun pouring your vinegar over the little frozen unicorns and watching it fizz.
  6. We added the squeeze dish soap to the vinegar because it helps to make a "foamier" reaction than vinegar alone.
