In a medium size microwave safe bowl, add coconut oil.

Add marshmallows to the coconut oil and microwave on high for 20-30 seconds.

You know when it is ready when the marshmallows get VERY big and fluffy!

Add cornstarch and stir until well blended.

If still too sticky, add a ½ tablespoon of cornstarch until it does not stick to the spoon.

Sprinkle your work surface with cornstarch.

Take silly putty from the bowl and knead until nice and smooth.

Add a few drops of food coloring to the marshmallows and mix well until combined. If you like, you can do this in the bowl and then knead on the table until the color is well blended.

For the rainbow Edible Marshmallow Weather Silly Putty, add rainbow sprinkles.

For the rain Edible Marshmallow Weather Silly Putty, add 2-3 drops of blue food coloring or gel. Knead until a pretty light blue color.

For the snow Edible Marshmallow Weather Silly Putty, you can keep it white or add 2-3 drops of purple food coloring or gel. Knead until a pretty light purple color.

For the sun Edible Marshmallow Weather Silly Putty, add 2-3 drops of yellow food coloring or gel. Knead until a pretty yellow color.
