Trace the opening of the party cup onto the top-center of a dessert plate. Cut the circle slightly smaller than the traced circle.

For smaller children, punch a hole on each side of the inner circle for the elastic cording. For older children, punch the holes on the outer rim of the plate.

Attach a length of elastic cording to the plate.

Wrap the cup with two lines of tape.

Place the plate over the cup and secure it with tape on the underside of the plate.
