All kids are different and depending on their ages some might read 4 books a month with no problem, but for others, 4 books a month might be a real challenge.

This can be a great tool for your children. If you have a child that struggles to read, let them pick their books. Try magazines or a graphic novel to peek interests in a variety of reading material. You know your kids and can encourage them by reading aloud or sharing a quiet reading time together.

If you are just beginning your reading adventure and looking for a great program, our favorite reading program is All About Reading. It has been great for our kids. My only wish is that we had found All About Reading first.
