Apple Science for Preschool and Kindergarten
This life cycle of an apple tree was a great hands on learning activity. You can read all about how apples grow and then let your child create it on paper.
We used paint for the apple and the flower buds, but you could also use tissue paper or little pom pom balls.
The apple taste test was a lot of fun. The kids loved all of the different types of apples that we had. (we picked good ones)
Listening to them describe the apples gave us a chance to talk about descriptive words and senses.
