How to make Crunchy Slime
Making a crunchy slime is always a great idea. You can easily do this anywhere that you are as long as you have all the simple ingredients. Glue, Foam balls, and either borax and water, liquid starch, contact solution, or Elmer’s Magic Liquid.
We’ve made this for school projects, birthday parties or just as a fun thing to play with on the weekend. All are easy ways to bring joy and entertainment.
What is floam?
Floam is like slime, but it’s just a little bit tougher consistency with the added foam balls. It’s made with polystyrene beads so children can mold it into shapes and sculpt it into whatever their imagination wants. It’s also not as sticky as slime so that makes it an exciting slime recipe to try.
When you play with slime, it tends to hold its shape a bit more than regular slime would, too.

These picture directions and steps below will show you how to make slime!
1. Pour your clear glue into a mixing bowl.
2. Add 1-2 tablespoons of glitter, then add about 1/3 cup of the foam balls. Add as little or as much as you’d like for these. There are no wrong amounts! Mix well.
