How to Make Peppermint Slime
Slime is a massive trend with kids of all ages right now, but we’ve been making it for years. There’s nothing like a little squishy fun to get those hand muscles working, and it’s a great stress reliever too. Plus peppermint has several amazing benefits, a calming feeling for your body and help with headaches among other things, making peppermint slime perfect for the holiday season.
Homemade Slime Recipe
Start by pouring your glue into a bowl. We used Elmer’s Red Glitter Glue, but you could substitute it for Elmer’s white glue.
Add 1/2 cup water your peppermint scent and mix. Now is the perfect time to add any extras you want for example food color or glitter. (we did not add anything extra in these pictures)
Pour in 1/2 cup Sta-Flow (liquid starch) and Mix. It will start coming together to form peppermint slime immediately.
Finish it up by kneading with your hands within 2 or 3 minutes it will be perfect. Have fun playing with this fantastic peppermint slime recipe.

Peppermint Slime Recipe
Ingredients:
1 bottle (6 oz.) Elmer’s Red Glitter Glue
1/2 cup Water
1/2 cup Sta-Flow (liquid Starch)
2-3 drops Peppermint Essential oil or 1/4 tsp. Peppermint Extract
Optional: red food color and extra glitter
Directions:
1. In a large mixing bowl, combine a 6 oz. Bottle of Elmer’s Red Glitter Glue with 1/2 cup of hot water and mix well.
2. Optional Add a few drops of red food coloring and mix until evenly combined.
3. Mix in a 1/4 teaspoon of your peppermint extract or 2-3 drops of peppermint essential oil.
4. Mix a 1/2 cup of Sta-Flow (liquid starch) into your glue mixture.
5. Ingredients should start coming together quickly to form slime.
6. Remove the slime from the bowl and knead it in your hands for a couple of minutes.
