The Best Montessori Practical Life Activities
One of the major things that really drew me to Montessori was when I learned that one of Maria Montessori’s goals was to prepare the child for life, not just a passing grade. As a mom, this is what I love to hear and exactly what I want for my children. Homeschooling and establishing a love for learning in my house has brought all my love back for early childhood development. I am cherishing every moment of parenting and teaching while preparing my children the best I can.
Montessori Practical Life Skills = Tasks of Daily Living
The exercises of practical life are formative activities, a work of adaptation to the environment. Such adaptation to the environment and efficient functioning therein is the very essence of a useful education.
