Put together a Mason Jar Craft – Sweet Holiday Treat Jar
Everyone will love these and they are so easy to make.
To start out, download and print out your Holiday Gift Tag on cardstock (grab the printable below).
Next, place some tissue paper or basket filler into the bottom of your jar or basket if you want (I didn’t think we needed it with these little candies).
Sweet Treat Christmas Jar Gift Idea
Arrange the candy inside of the jar until you get a look you are happy with. We used a variety of candy including a small container full of gummy bears, salt water taffy, gourmet circle lollipops, and rock crystal candy sticks.
You can use any candy you desire, but the more colorful it is, the better it will look.
Place the lid onto the top of your jar.
Cut out the “Sweet Holiday Wishes” gift tag and punch a hole in the upper corner of the gift tag then thread a piece of ribbon or string through it.
If you have chosen to purchase a candy themed Christmas ornament, you can thread the string through it as well, and tie both the ornament and the gift tag around the lid of your jar together.
We love incorporating gingerbread houses or gingerbread man ideas into our holiday season so we picked out a cute gingerbread house ornament to hang from the gift jar.
Sweet Holiday Treats Kid’s Candy Gift Jar
Every year after Thanksgiving we give each child a new Christmas ornament. This is a treasured holiday tradition for our family and this year we did it with these yummy candy gift jars.
Add your child’s favorite candies to the jar and give them an ornament of something that they love (a unicorn, a book, a basketball).
