Earth Day Art – Preschool Art Activities
If you are looking for an Earth Day Art Project, this is it!
Start by Spraying the whole can of shaving cream into a large container. You can have blue and green liquid watercolors in containers (or use food color) with droppers for the children to use – Let them use as many drops as they would like. Using a dropper is a great way to work on their fine motor skills.
Lay the paper flat on top of the Shaving Cream and have your child press down gently on the whole piece of paper. The best moment is seeing your child’s face light up when you pull up this lovely marbled paper.
Remove the paper and gently scrape or drag a ruler across the paper to remove access shaving cream

- Large Bin
- Shaving Cream
- White Paper
- Blue and Green Liquid Watercolors or Food Dye
- Dropper
- Scraper or ruler
