Earth Day Art Activities - Shaving Cream Marbled Paper

I love this time of year, don’t you? It’s finally starting to feel like spring and were able to enjoy the outdoors every day. Playing at the parks, and heading to the beach always makes you see how important it is to keep this environment clean and do what we can to protect the Earth. In our house, Earth Day is every day, but whether you only participate one day a year or you’re like us we think you’ll love these Earth Day Art Activities.

Earth Day Art – Preschool Art Activities

If you are looking for an Earth Day Art Project this is it!

Start by Spraying the whole can of shaving cream into a large container. You can have blue and green liquid watercolors in containers (or use food color) with droppers for the children to use – Let them use as many drops as they would like. Using a dropper is a great way to work on their fine motor skills.

Lay the paper flat on top of the Shaving Cream and have your child press down gently on the whole piece of paper. Seeing your child’s face light up when you pull up this lovely marbled paper is the best moment.

Remove the paper and gently scrape or drag a ruler across the paper to remove access shaving cream

Large Bin
Shaving Cream
White Paper
Blue and Green Liquid Watercolors or Food Dye
Dropper
Scraper or ruler
