Easy Elf on the Shelf Ideas
A box of Penne pasta can go a long way with your Elf. Make fun shapes out of the pasta around your elf. You can also leave a bowl of the dry penne noodles nearby for your kids to use to make their own shapes. That is a great hands-on learning activity with Elf on the Shelf.
An elf that wants to help cook is a perfect elf. Leave a cookbook open and your Elf on the Shelf propped up with spaghetti. You can also leave a jar of sauce next to it and tell your kids that pasta is what’s for dinner. The elf’s idea of course 😉
This Elf on the Shelf missed the north pole and decided to sleep in the freezer. Wrapped in a napkin for a blanket this elf is happy in the cold.

This elf got stuck inside a box. Have your elf peeking out of a cereal box, or any box that you have in the pantry you don’t mind using. In this case, we had a plastic spoon box that already had a peekaboo space.
This Elf on the Shelf Idea is so fun. Image your Elf got into the eggs and drew faces on all of them. You might want to make all of the eggs different, like Happy eggs, confused eggs, surprised eggs, and sad eggs. Or make 12 happy face eggs.
This elf showed up for lunch in the form of a Hotdog. This elf thought he was a funny elf on the shelf.
Ahhhh life is good when you can just relax. Cut little hearts out for an eye mask and place your elf on a fun pillow, plate, blanket, or towel to show he’s chillaxing.
Elf’s love ice cream too. It’s cold and reminds them of home. Sit your Elf in an ice cream cone with sprinkles and toppings around him. It is an added bonus if your kids get to make ice cream sundaes for a snack on this day.
