Flower Science Activities for Preschool and Kindergarten
Over the past few years, we have been learning about flowers and plants. The children have drawn flowers in their journals, taken hundreds of nature walks, and enjoyed growing their own flowers.
This is a beautiful hands-on flower experiment to start teaching your children about flowers and how they thrive.
You’ll want to start with white flowers. This time, We chose daisies because they are sweet and remind us of spring.
Cut the ends of the stem to fit your vase and so your flowers can absorb the water better.
Have your child add the food color to each vase.
Squeezing the bottles of food coloring works your child’s hand muscles, which is perfect for building fine motor skills.
