Slime Recipe
What is Galaxy Slime?
Galaxy slime is a type of slime that is made to look like a galaxy. It is often stretchy and squishy and can be made with different ingredients depending on the recipe. Galaxy slime is a popular choice for children’s parties, as it is both fun and educational.
Creative Slime
There are many different ways to make galaxy slime, but all of them share some common ingredients. In order to make galaxy slime, you will need:
white glue
baking soda
food coloring
For the best results, it is recommended that you use a recipe that uses contact solution. This is because contact solution helps to make the slime more stretchy and less sticky. If you do not have contact solution handy, you can also try using borax, or baking soda as a substitute.
How to Make Galaxy Slime

Galaxy Slime Ingredients
- 1 bottle of White Glue
- Black Glitter
- Purple Glitter
- White Glitter
- Blue Glitter
- ½ a tablespoon of Baking Soda
- 1 tablespoon of Contact Solution
- Dark Blue Gel Food Coloring
- Purple Gel Food Coloring

Start by adding ¾ of your glue to a mixing bowl and then add about 2 teaspoons of each glitter.

Add in your baking soda and the contact solution, then add the rest of your glue.
Mix well until well combined.

Add a couple of drops of each food coloring and knead it into your slime.

Play and have fun!

A few tips: You can use purple glitter glue instead of white, and ½ the glitter for less glitter and less of a mess. I know some parents fear glitter. If you use this option do not use food coloring.
