It’s that time of year again, time to snuggle up on the couch and watch The Grinch. And these Grinch Pretzel snack bites are the perfect thing to serve. A bite-size snack everyone enjoys that’s sweet and salty.

This Grinch treat is also perfect finger food for your Christmas party or kid’s holiday snack idea.

These little Grinch themed snacks are adorable and so simple to make. Plus, who doesn’t love chocolate pretzels with a heart in the middle?

If you want to provide kid-friendly food that adults love too for your Christmas party, these Grinch Pretzel bites are awesome. Even picky eaters usually love chocolate and pretzels. And when you present them with a heart in the middle like the Grinch everyone will gush over these holiday snacks.

Pretzel Squares
Brown Candy Melts
Light Green Candy Melts
Either Red Candy Melts or Heart Sprinkles

You can use Edible hearts instead of piping out chocolate hearts if you’d like.

Grinch Snacks

To start, lay a piece of parchment paper out on your counter. And on a plate, lay out the square pretzels.

Top each one with a brown candy melt, and place the plate into the microwave. You want the candy melt to melt enough to stick to the pretzel, but not enough to melt all over the place. I started at 15 seconds and did intervals until it was coated.
Remove from the microwave and place each one onto the parchment paper.

If you are using red candy melts (like I did) melt the red candy melts according to package instructions and Transfer the melted red candy melts to a Ziploc bag and cut a small hole in the corner. On the parchment paper, pipe small hearts and allow them to set.

Grinch Treats

Melt the bright green candy melts in a bowl according to the package instructions.
Transfer the melted green candy melts to a Ziploc bag. Cut a small hole in the corner and pipe green lines over the pretzel and brown candy melt.
Before the green has been able to set, stick a heart sprinkle or one of the heart candy melts on, lightly pressing into the green candy melts.

Allow them to sit and set for 5-10 minutes and then these yummy pretzel bites are ready to serve.

Easy Grinch Pretzel Snack Bites for a fun Dr. Seuss Snack idea or Christmas Party

Ingredients

Parchment Paper
Pretzel Squares
Brown Candy Melts
Light Green Candy Melts
Either Red Candy Melts or Heart Sprinkles

Instructions
