Nutrition Activities for Kids
Preschool Health and Nutrition Activities with Free Printables
This is an important time for developing healthy habits for life. Healthy eating and an active lifestyle are very important for your child’s growth and development.
Eat the Rainbow Activity
You can use the food pictures that come in the pack or find food pictures in magazines and cut them out together. We also spent time reading farm and food books this week.

Preschool Sorting Activities
You can help children learn food groups by sorting your wooden or felt play foods. I like doing it this way, so they have more of a hands-on feel; however, using the food group pictures works perfectly fine too. This Melissa and Doug food group set features items from the five food groups and works perfectly for activities like this.
We are big fans of alphabet clip cards here, so I made sure to include healthy eating alphabet cards. Your child is sure to love clipping these fruits and Vegetables. Yum!
