To make the scented playdough recipe for kids, Add the water, oil, yellow food color, and banana flavoring to a large saucepan. Whisk to combine. Next, you’ll add the dry ingredients (flour, salt, and cream of tartar ).

Mix until all the ingredients are incorporated. Stir continuously over medium heat until a stiff ball of dough forms.

Banana Scented Playdough Recipe for Kids

INGREDIENTS

2 cups water

1 Tablespoon oil

3-4 drops yellow food coloring (Wilton icing colors)

1/2 teaspoon banana flavoring or extract

2 cups flour

1 cup salt

2 Tablespoons Cream of Tartar

DIRECTIONS

1. Add the water, oil, yellow food color, and banana flavoring to a large saucepan. Whisk to combine.

2. Add the flour, salt, and Cream of Tartar and mix well until all ingredients are incorporated.

3. Stir continuously over medium heat until a stiff ball of dough forms (3-4 minutes).

3. Remove from heat and cool for 1-2 minutes in a saucepan before removing. Knead for 1-2 minutes on a level workspace.
