Start by cutting about 1/3 off the top of one of the paper plates.

Rub glue all over this plate and press on the shredded paper until it’s covered.

Now cut tiny pieces of pipe cleaner, bend them in half, and hot glue or glue each onto a blue pom. Make sure the open ends are facing out so it looks like a beak.

Set the smaller paper plate onto the whole one and hot glue around the edges to secure. The top third of the bottom plate should be completely visible.

Glue the bird’s heads onto the bottom plate so it looks like they are peeking out over the top plate.

How to Make a Birds Nest Paper Plate Craft

How to make the cutest birds nest paper plate craft and birds nest habitat with kids

Servings: 1 craft
Ingredients
  • 2 White Paper Plates
  • 1 bag Brown Paper Confetti
  • 4 Blue Poms one large and 3 small
  • 1 Yellow Pipe Cleaner
  • Googly Eyes
  • Hot Glue Gun and glue stick or Elmers Glue
  • Feathers and Worm Bait
Instructions
  1. Cut about 1/3 off the top of one of the paper plates.
  2. Rub glue all over this plate and press on the confetti until covered.
  3. On the whole paper plate, rub glue just over the top 1/3 of the plate and press confetti onto it until covered.
