Why it’s important to show kindness to others
There are many reasons why it’s important to show kindness to others.
Some of the benefits of being kind include:
- Kind people are happier people.
- Kind people are healthier people.
- Kind people have better relationships.
- Kind people are more successful.
- Kindness is contagious.
One way to spread cheer is to give out compliments. Complimenting someone can make their day and brighten their mood. A great way to do this is to keep a compliment jar. Every time you see or hear something nice about someone, write it down and put it in the jar. Once the jar is full, take the compliments and give them to the person they are about.
Another way to spread cheer is by doing something nice for someone without expecting anything in return. This could be as simple as opening a door for someone, letting someone go in front of you in line, or helping carry groceries.
