How to Make Amazing Sundae Ice Cream Cake Cones

What you will need to make your Ice Cream Cake Cones is in this picture below. However, I have it displayed in list form towards the bottom of the page. Keeping it real easy with a box cake mix 🙂
If you prefer to go the healthier route just make up your favorite homemade cake mix and icing.
You can stand these up carefully in your cupcake pan or I found the easiest way to cook these. This Ice cream cone cupcake baking rack is the Bomb!
Make Cupcake Cones That Everyone Wants
Prepare your cake mix and pour the batter into cones, filling them up ¾ of the way. Bake the cake cones for 15-20 minutes, or until baked through and lightly brown on top.
Using the star tip and a piping bag or Ziploc bag, fill the bag with your choice of frosting. Pipe the cones in a circular motion on top of the cake cone, just like soft serve ice cream looks.
Place approximately a cup of white frosting in a bowl and microwave it for 8-10 seconds until slightly melty. Spoon a little bit on top of the frosted cone, and the frosting will run down a bit on the sides.
Sprinkle a few jimmies on and top our ice-cream cake cones with a cherry. Yum!

Ingredients
- 1 pkg. White Cake Mix
- 1 pkg. Ice Cream Cones, 18-24 ct.
- 1 container Strawberry Frosting
- 1 container Chocolate Frosting
- 1 container Vanilla Frosting
- Maraschino Cherries
- Sprinkles
- Star tip
Directions
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2. Prepare cake mix per package directions and pour batter into cones, filling up ¾ of the way.
3. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until baked through and lightly brown on top.
