Patriotic Non Alcoholic Summer Drinks: Perfect 4th of July Drinks for Kids
We are making one of our favorite patriotic mocktails for this 4th of July. It is a layered drink that uses only three ingredients. You can make them in individual glasses, put the ingredients into a pitcher, and let everyone help themselves with some refreshing cold drinks on Independence Day! We like to use these red white and blue straws to give our drinks a bit of extra flair.
When the summer sun blazes in the sky and the 4th of July festivities are in full swing, there’s nothing quite like a refreshing non-alcoholic drink to quench your thirst and keep the celebration spirited. Red White and Blue Patriotic Drink

Easy Summer Drink Recipe
Fill a glass to the top with ice. You can use any size glass that you like. We mixed it up and used mason jars and glass milk bottles.
July 4th Layered Drinks Recipe
First, slowly pour the fruit punch into the glass, going about 1/3 of the way up. Pour to the side of the ice so the ice stays free of color.
Next, very slowly pour the white cherry Powerade into the glass, going about another 1/3 of the way up.
Last, very slowly pour the mixed berry Powerade into the glass to the top.
Carefully put a straw into your glass and serve immediately. These drinks will bring the fireworks.

- 32 oz. bottle Mixed Berry Powerade Zero
- 32 oz. Minute Maid Fruit Punch
- Fun Straws
- Ice

Note: If you cannot find the exact juices I used, you can substitute other kinds. However, the sugar content is very important as it helps the different colors not mix as easily. The red is the highest sugar content of 38-40 grams sugar. The white is next at about 20-22 grams sugar. The blue should be only 0-8 grams sugar.
