How to Make Slime with Contact Solution
In a large glass bowl stir together 1 1/2 cups of Elmer’s school glue, baking soda, peppermint extract, and shaving cream until everything is mixed up thoroughly.
Next, slowly add in your contact solution, you want to add just until the slime pulls easily from the sides of your bowl and doesn’t stick to your fingers as you knead it. Adding too much activator will turn your slime into a less pliable rubber.
Divide your slime in half and stir in red craft paint and glitter into one of the halves. Add glitter to the white slime if you’d like by kneading it on a smooth surface. Glitter is totally optional.
Twist the slimes together for Christmas themed sensory play or layer the slime in a jar to gift, add a cute wintery cookie cutter for extra fun.

Your slime will last for a couple of weeks if kept in an airtight container. Add activator if it starts to liquefy, stir in some warm water if it begins to firm up too much.
