What you will need to make your Christmas Salt Painting is in this picture below. However, I have it displayed in list form to print out towards the bottom of the page. Enjoy!
Start by drawing a picture of a Christmas tree on the piece of paper. Cardstock or a thick construction paper works best for this art project.
Now your child can squeeze the glue on the black lines of the tree picture you drew.
Now have your child sprinkle a good coat of salt over all the glue making sure it is coated well. Then slowly shake off the excess.
Wet your paintbrush with water and tap off the extra. Dip into the paint and lightly brush onto the salt. You can also gently tap it on as well. Watercolor Salt Painting also works great if you use a small dropper.
Let this set and dry for a few hours.
