We recently read The Story of the Kindness Elves and were inspired to make a kindness potion of our own. This was such a lovely Spring Flowers Sensory Play and Kindness Activity. Spring Flowers Sensory Play & Kindness Activity

When we began all of the flower science activities, I never thought we would end up with the prettiest flower sensory play. We started out a few weeks ago with this beautiful dyeing flowers experiment.

We used our own dyed flowers for this flower activity. You can use any flowers that you like.

Food coloring or watercolors for the colored water is perfect. Add a few child size pitchers so that they can pour and mix their kindness potion.

Bells enjoyed pulling off all of the flower petals and mixing them in. This was a great fine motor activity and a way to get a look at each part of the flower.

Adding glitter was definitely a must for lots of giggles and joyfulness.
