Who says that Easter Baskets have to be small? If you’re looking for a way to “wow” your child this year, why not give them a Giant Easter Basket instead?
Sometimes, it’s fun to go over the top and surprise the kids with something that they won’t expect. When they see their Easter Basket this year, they’re going to be so excited.

Giant Easter Basket
The types of items used are totally flexible so aim to customize this for your child or children! Not into hula hoops? Use pool noodles instead! You could do one giant basket for each child or one for them to share.
We liked the idea of them sharing and working together so we mixed items for different ages-keep that in mind when choosing which direction to go and what types of toys and games will go in the pool and eggs to help little ones stay safe.
What you will need to make your Giant Easter Basket is in this picture below. However, I have it displayed in a recipe list form to print out towards the bottom of the page. Have Fun!
How to Make a Giant Easter Basket
While you can add in anything that you want, here are some simple supplies that you should consider:
This Giant Easter basket is a Kiddy Pool that your children can use in the summer.
A Hula Hoop or pool noodles (to look like a basket handle)
A Water Bottle is great for all of the warm spring and summer days ahead.
Kids ukulele or another musical instrument
Ideas for Easter
As you can tell, using a baby pool is a great Easter basket base.
Tape the hula hoop to the center of the pool, I then laid something heavy on top to make sure it would stay in place once the other things went in.
You can then start to organize and add in other items easily. Start to fill with the larger items in the back and then work to the front.
Fill your Easter basket with playdough, balls, games, Easter eggs, and other fun little items.
If your children aren’t quite ready for an egg hunt you can fill eggs and put them right into the pool for them to discover as they enjoy Easter morning.
