Build a Turkey Craft

Here’s what you’ll need:
- 1 Build a turkey template printed on cardstock paper
- Small, sharp safety scissors
- Glue stick and regular glue
- Wooden popsicle stick
- Adult hands to help little hands if needed
This craft is sure to create some super cute Thanksgiving turkeys to decorate your table for the big feast this year. It’s a great way to help kindergarteners practice cutting, pasting, and problem-solving too.
Begin by printing the turkey activity book with a turkey craft template. Then, cut out each turkey body part and shape on the printable. Finally, work together to use the pieces to construct your very own Thanksgiving turkey this November.

Use scissors to cut out each turkey piece. It’s okay if your pieces aren’t cut perfectly, your
puppet will still look great.
Glue the turkey’s head onto its body section.
Next, center and glue the body and head onto the large turkey wings.
Glue the smaller side-wings to each side. Tuck the sharp wing tips under the turkey’s neck.
Glue the claws(feet) onto the back of the turkey, at the bottom.
Finally, use some regular craft glue to adhere the back of your turkey to a popsicle stick.
