The picture below shows what you will need to make your Thankful Craft. However, towards the bottom of the page, I have it displayed in list form for you to print. Have fun!
To start your “I am thankful” plate craft, Have your children paint the center circle of one paper plate orange and paint the entire edge tan. Let that dry.
Press the 3 cotton balls in the center so they stick to the paint, and sprinkle the glitter on the top so it looks like spices.
Now, stick stickers on the plate to spell out “I’m Thankful For.”
Cut one slice of the pie out of the plate. Make sure to cut on the side opposite of the stickers.
On the other plate, write 5 things you are thankful for, or have your child write 5 things they are thankful for. Set the pie plate on top of this one and line it up to write your thankful ideas – write your things in the space where the pie piece is cut out. Turn it in so you can write each one.
Now, poke the paper fastener through both paper plates and secure it at the back. Spin the bottom plate to see all the things you are thankful for.
