Jelly Bean Math Activities for Preschool and Kindergarten
I’m a big fan of hands-on activities and making math fun. Don’t get me wrong I know Math is an important subject to learn and get a good grasp from an early age. That is why I try to do what I can to keep the kids interested and excited in using their Math skills.
I’ve shared how we aren’t big fans of having candy around, but with kids sometimes it seems to show up from friends and family. Plus we are okay with an occasional treat especially if we can use it for learning 😉 So whether you have leftover candy sitting around or just want to surprise the kids with a super cool math lesson, these Jelly Bean Math Activities are perfect.

Depending on how old your children are or their writing abilities you can use color to represent your jelly beans or write the words for the colors. My son was able to write his answers, however, for the preschool age, you can have them use a crayon (see pictures below for examples).
