Supplies needed:
- A large piece of kraft paper such as this (measure your table before purchasing to make sure you have the ideal shape and size)
- Paints, I chose to go with calming blues and gold, then someone snuck in some purple paints haha
- Paint brushes, foam brushes
- Paint cups
- White glue
- Cotton balls
- Optional: Snowflakes to trace and decorate
When it comes down to this simple process art activity, there aren’t many directions to go along with it!
The idea is to set up a lovely invitation to play with snowflakes.
Tape the paper to the corners of the table and set this up before they get home from school so they will have a fun activity to unwind with.
Let them choose their work area and how they use the materials available to them.
There’s no wrong way to decorate the snowflakes.
They can use any color of paints that they want.

These snowflakes are lovely to hang around the house when your children are done making them.
