Who doesn’t love peanut butter? It’s actually pretty sticky on its own so it just makes sense to combine and make playdough out of it.
One thing is for certain. Once your child makes and plays with this homemade playdough, they just might consider it their favorite snack as well!
How Do You Make Marshmallow Playdough?

How to Make Peanut Butter Playdough with Marshmallows
These are the 3 ingredients needed to make this edible marshmallow playdough
- 11 Large Marshmallows
- About 5 Tbsp Peanut Butter
- 1 ½ Tbsp Powder Sugar

Place your marshmallows in a large bowl and add your scoops of peanut butter on top.

Place marshmallows and peanut butter in a microwavable safe bowl. Microwave for 10 seconds, stir and place back in for about 5-10 seconds more. Take out and mix well.

Stir in the powder sugar then take it out of the bowl and knead. Careful, it’ll be a little hot. Let cool, then give to the kids to play with.

Then, once they’ve squished it, formed it, and taken a few nibbles, roll it back out and let them play with it again.

How do you make peanut butter playdough without powdered sugar?
If you don’t have powdered sugar, you can use dry nonfat milk in its place. It might not have the same sweet taste, but it will give it that edible option still. (You can always add a little bit of honey for sweetness)
