Summer Themed Cupcakes Beach Day
Are you looking for a snack to add to a fun themed week, the last day of school, or maybe a cool beach party? These Summer Themed Cupcakes are always a big hit. Adults and kids think they are the yummiest snack idea plus; you can never go wrong with a cupcake. Believe it or not, these are easy to make and taste delicious.
Beach Cupcakes for the Win!
Beach Day Summer Themed Cupcakes
What you will need to make these yummy beach cupcakes is in this picture below. I have what’s needed with the full recipe displayed in list form towards the bottom of the page. Enjoy!
Feel free to skip the bubblegum beach ball if you don’t allow gum or Pez if you prefer no hard candy. Have fun with it – Even having the sandy top with an umbrella makes adorable summer themed cupcakes.
Beach Themed Cupcakes
Frost the cupcakes and sprinkle crushed graham crackers all over the top to resemble sand.
Cut small rectangular pieces of the Air Heads candy for the beach towels.
Lay a beach towel on each cupcake and lay a Sour Patch kid on each towel. Next, Place an umbrella, a gumball, and 2 little Pez candies on each cupcake. These resemble a volleyball/ball and a pair of flip flops.
An optional step: use an edible writing pen to dot on eyes and a mouth on the sour patch kids and draw little straps on the Pez candy so they look more like flip flops.

- Prepared Cupcakes, any flavor
- 1 Container Vanilla Frosting
- 6-8 Graham Crackers, crushed
- 1 pkg. Sour Patch Kids
- 1 pkg. Gum Balls
- Air Heads Candy, variety of flavors
- 1 pkg. Pez Candy
